Academy Side Event at UN Headquarters on 26 October

The Hague Academy of International Law, with the kind sponsorship of the Permanent Missions of Colombia, Andorra, Austria, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Singapore, Slovakia and Türkiye to the United Nations, will once again hold a “Side Event” at UN Headquarters in New York. The event will take place on Wednesday, 26 October 2022, from 1:25 pm to 2:45 pm EST/7:25 to 8:45 om GMT+1. The topic will be “The Institutions at the Peace Palace as Key Contemporary Actors of International Law”.

Participants will have the opportunity to listen to addresses by H.E. Mr. Marcin Czepelak, Secretary-General of the Permanent Court of Arbitration, H.E. Mr. Philippe Gautier, Registrar of the International Court of Justice, and Professor Jean-Marc Thouvenin, Secretary-General of the Academy.
