The Hague Academy of International Law

Centre for Studies and Research – Online

The Centre for Studies and Research in International Law and International Relations - Online is a programme, which will take place between September 1st, 2020 and June 1st, 2021, on the topic of Epidemics and International Law.

Contrary to the regular Centre sessions, this edition will be held entirely online, and participants will therefore not be required to convene at The Hague, as is normally the case. The selected researchers for the programme will be required to follow a tight schedule in order to finalize their research by April/May 2021. The selection of candidates will be conducted jointly by the Secretary-General of the Academy and the two Directors of Research starting August 1st, 2020.

The research undertaken during the Centre will be included in a collective work to be published by the Academy as of August 2021. Only the best contributions will be selected for publication. The working language will be English, and interested applicants are therefore required to have a perfect command of this language.
