Publication of a Thai edition of the Case Digest on Evidential Issues in Trafficking in Persons Cases

On October 30th, 2020, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific (ROSEAP) announced the publication of a Thai edition of its Case Digest on Evidential Issues in Trafficking in Persons Cases, created to help criminal justice practitioners.

The Academy warmly welcomes the success of this project, which was launched by UNODC following a special programme designed by The Hague Academy of International Law for and at the request of the Thai judges on international law relating to trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants. The programme took place between September 16th and 26th, 2019, in The Hague, and was conducted in partnership with UNODC, the ILO, and Dutch prosecutors and judges. It was on that occasion that UNODC, together with senior Thai justice officials present during the programme, considered producing a Thai edition of its excellent Case Digest.
