The Hague Academy of International Law (THAIL), in partnership with the Supreme Court of the Philippines and the Philippine Judicial Academy (PHILJA), organised the Programme on Demand from 19 February to 1 March 2024 for participants from the Philippines.

This programme, which represented an intensive professional training course on Public and Private international law, took place at The Judicial Academy Philippines (TJAP) Tagaytay City.
Driven by the Supreme Court’s Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations (SPJI), it was conducted with the scientific and technical expertise at its disposal, aiming to keep members of the Judicial Branch and other agencies of government abreast with current developments in international law.

One hundred (100) on-site Philippine participants were selected principally from the ranks of justices, judges, and court attorneys. Some slots were also available to applicants from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), and the academe.

No registration fees were charged for the programme to both judiciary and non-judiciary on-site.
