The Winter Courses
Before the Courses
The Winter Courses are targeted for students and practitioners seeking a deeper understanding of international law, whether public or private. To attend the courses, applicants must apply online.
The Winter Courses are open to:
- Applicants who have completed at least four consecutive years of university studies, which must have included lectures on international law;
- Applicants holding a three-year university law degree (LL.B. or other) on the start date of the upcoming Winter Courses, or a document certifying 3 completed years of university studies in law, preferably having already followed some courses on international law.
- All applicants must master one of the two working languages (English or French).
Registration for the 2023 Winter Courses on-site in The Hague is now closed. Due to the success of the 2021-2022 Online Winter and Summer Courses, the 2023 Winter Courses will also be offered in an online format. For all practical information and how to register, please consult this page.
