Selection Criteria
Selection criteria for the Directed Studies sessions.
Read moreThe Directed Studies sessions are advanced seminars led by a professor and intended for the most qualified attendees. They are open exclusively to candidates who hold at least a Master's degree or equivalent at the time of application. Admission to this programme is selective and based on an assessment of the applicant’s academic and professional background.
These sessions offer participants the opportunity to prepare for the Academy’s Diploma Exam or to engage in in-depth discussions on complex issues of public or private international law, without necessarily sitting for the exam. The Diploma Exam consists of a five-hour written test on a topic that combines both theoretical and practical dimensions. Candidates who pass the written exam are invited to take the oral part of the examination.
