Newly Elected Member of the Curatorium

Diploma awarded during the 2023 Winter Courses
During the Closing Ceremony of the 2023 Winter Courses, the Diploma of the Academy was awarded to Ms. Svenja Theresa Schwartz (Germany). The Jury of the Exam consisted of Prof. Jean-Marc Thouvenin, Secretary-General of the Academy, Prof. Olivier Corten (General Course) and Professors Sarah Casella and Yenkong Ngangjoh-Hodu (Directors of Studies).

Academy Side Event at UN Headquarters on 26 October
The Hague Academy of International Law, with the kind sponsorship of the Permanent Missions of Colombia, Andorra, Austria, Costa Rica, Ecuador, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Singapore, Slovakia and Türkiye to the United Nations, will once again hold a "Side Event" at UN Headquarters in New York. The event will take place on Wednesday, 26 October 2022, from 1:25 pm to 2:45 pm in Room 11. The topic will be “The Institutions at the Peace Palace as Key Contemporary Actors of International Law”.
